With 15+ years of participation and involvement in networking groups and business associations, Bryan Hughes knows a lot about various approaches to networking.
For Bryan, it’s organic networking that works to build relationships and grow business. It’s authentic meeting and greeting. It’s involvement that is evenly balanced. He approaches networking taking pride in the reputation of his name and his personal brand. That’s why he has created Bryan Hughes Business Connections, LLC (BHBC).
Starting Bryan Hughes Business Connections was a natural progression from a natural networker. Bryan makes it a goal to make new connections and then make introductions. He believes everyone has increased visibility when networking is done right.
Having worked on many committees for quota-oriented groups and geographically based associations, Bryan looks to do things differently with BHBC. He takes time to learn if a prospective new member is a good fit prior to an application even being filled out.
Bryan has gained a great deal by volunteering as a committee chairman and ambassador for various networking communities and wants his members to have that too. Good networking means your network has your back.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, the proof is in his accent, this converted Philadelphian continues to develop deep community roots that are over fifteen years old.
He came to the Philadelphia area when Blockbuster moved him to Delaware County as a District training manager, later spending two years with Citizens Bank in Broomall, PA, and seven years with Huntingdon Valley Bank where he was a Banking Officer then promoted to Business Development Manager and then Assistant Vice President of Business Development.
Bryan has his BHBC groups focus on public speaking, advertising refinement, creating a funnel for customer development. He regularly brings in speakers to lead discussions and present professional development tactics.
Recently, Bryan has transitioned some of the groups to a Mastermind format, focusing on individual member challenges, wins, and development.
Bryan continues to work with networking organizations of which he’s been a longtime active member and was grateful to find so many of those organizations continued to engage him in committees and events while he was transitioning his career.
In the spirit of giving back, Bryan created three free categories in his groups: a non-profit, a career transition, and a new graduate.
In addition to his role as BHBC President/CEO, Bryan is also the Executive Vice President Business Development with Total Technology Resources.
